New reference sheet for Sams the little river-spirit, from my story The Gate :0
He is Argon's guardian, and always by his side (which is a thing Argon doesn't enjoy). Slightly cocky, very playful, and wiser than he appears, Sams is a little flirt. He loves to tease Argon, but in his heart he cares about him more than anything else, and would give his life for him.
Appearing in a form of a small dragon, Sams is quick as a lightning and controls the power of water. His homeriver in the Lejenn valley is a small but fierce stream, fighting it's way down from the Tora mountains' glaciers, running through the dry plains and deserts of Saath, to the Southern coast where the biggest harbours recide, giving homes to the kingdom's big war fleet.
I think Sams' personality was inspired by my brother's, but in a subconscious way @__@ I didn't realize it before, but when I wrote it down I noticed Sams is just like my bro. Or my bro is just like Sams. Scary.
